Shah Jahan, Lahore Mint, Lot of two coins, Silver Rupee & Gold Mohur, Obv: Arabic legend The Kalima Shahada within a circle, four Caliphs' names in the margin, Rev: Persian legend "saheb-e-qiran sani Shihab ud-din Muhammad Shahjahan Badshah Ghazi", "Zarb Lahore" completely visible at the bottom, Extremely Rare as pair.

Silver Rupee, AH 1040, 11.35g, 22.00mm, (KM # 227.7), test mark, about extremely fine.

Gold Mohur, AH 1041/4 RY, 10.85g, 22.03mm, (Kalima Shahada within a circle is not listed Gold in KM), well centrally struck, partial dotted border, sharply struck, superb luster, highly attractive, choice uncirculated.

Note: This pair has not been offered by us in the past; a gold mohur of this quality is often missing in various collections.
