Indo Greeks, Menander I (155-130 BC), Silver Tetradrachma, Large flan, Obv: a diademed bust of the king, facing right, Greek legend "BASIΛEΩS SΩTHPOS / MENANΔPOY" "Basileos Soteros Menandrou"(...of king Menander, the Saviour) around the field, Rev: an upright Athena Alkidemos, facing right and seen from behind, holding a shield horizontally with her outstretched right arm and hurling a thunderbolt with her left, Pushkalavati monogram on the left field and a discontinuous Kharoshthi legend "Maharajasa tratarasa / menamdrasa" (Great King and Savior, Menander) around the field, 9.67g, 27.00mm, (Mitch. ACW # 1765/Bop. &Rahman # 333), about extremely fine, Extremely Rare.
