Gupta Dynasty, Kumaragupta I (Mahendraditya) (415-455 AD), Gold Dinar, “Horseman – Right” type, Obv: the king, nimbate, riding an adorned horse to the right, holdinga bow in his left hand whose upper part is visible just above the neck of the horse, Brahmi legend “Guptakula vyomashashi (jyatyajeyo jitamahendrah)” around the field, Rev: the goddess Lakshmi, nimbate, seated facing left on a wicker stool, left hand of the goddess rests on her waist, holding a lotus with long stalk with leaves and buds, feeding grapes to a peacock on the left field, Brahmi legend "Ajitamahendra" on the right, 8.04g, 19.97mm, (Variant of Altekar, Bayana Hoard # Pl. XXIII-15/TOTGE, S. Kumar # Class. III-Var. A), with sharp legends, choice very fine, Extremely Rare.
