Kushan Dynasty, Shaka I (325-345 AD), Gold Dinar, "Ardokhsho" type, Obv: a crowned king, nimbate, standing facing left, sacrificing over an altar, holding a trident in his left hand while a ribboned trident surmounts the altar, Brahmi initials "Bha" to feet on the left, "Sayatha" to the inner right and "Shaka" to the outer right, Rev: the goddess Ardokhsho enthroned, facing forward, nimbate, holding a cornucopia in her left hand and a diadem in her extended right hand (with ladder-like ribbon), a tamgha in upper left field, Bactrian legend "APΔOXþO" at right, 7.78g, 17.65mm, (Gobl # 594), choice very fine, Very Rare.
