CARIA. Uncertain. 2nd half of the 5th Century BC. Diobol Silver, Forepart of bull to left. Rev. Forepart of bull to left; uncertain letter to left. Apparently unpublished. The similarities with SNG von Aulock 8044-5 indicate a Carian origin. See CNG e-auction 348, 293 for a similar, but a little later, example. Well struck and toned; a rare coin. Condition Very fine. 1.9 gr. 11 mm.
