Roman Republic - C. Servilius Vatia. Silver denarius (3.83 g. 17 mm.). Minted in Rome in 82-80 B.C.

Laureate head of Apollo right, B behind.

Horseman charging left, holding shield inscribed M and spearing another horseman before him; C. SERVEIL in exergue.

Crawford 370/1b. Sydenham 720. RSC Servilia 7.

Good very fine condition. Beautiful old cabinet silver toning. Banker mark. Scarce.
