Shilling 1843 ESC 1290, Bull 2989 UNC and lustrous with very light cabinet friction to the high points of the obverse, a rare date, surely rarer than the 'R' quoted by ESC and Bull in high grade. This date missing from many Shilling collections and certainly among the finest we have offered of this date NGC MS64
