Darlington Bank 1 Pound FIRST year for this type dated 6th September 1813 number A382 for Mowbray, Hollingsworth, Wetherell, Shields, Boulton & Co., Manuscript signatures Entered Plews and signed Hollingsworth (Outing 630c; Grant 927F), Fine Pinholes and Scarce featuring an Allegorical woman holding wheatsheaf at left and the manuscript calligraphy and signatures in beautiful cursive and embossed Revenue Stamp for Four Pence at centre left. The reverse features a monogram panel M.H.W.S.B & Co.
