CILICIA. Seleucia ad Calycadnus. Trebonianus Gallus, 251-253. Hexassarion (Bronze, 34 mm, 17.07 g, 7 h). ΑΥ Κ [ΓΑ ΙΟΥ]ΛΙ ΤΡΕΒΩ ΓΑΛΛΟC Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trebonianus Gallus to right, seen from behind. Rev. CЄΛЄY/[KЄΩN] TΩN ΠPOC Τ[Ω] KAΛY/KAΔ/NΩ Draped busts of Apollo, laureate, and Artemis-Tyche, wearing kalathos, facing one another; to right, cornucopiae. SNG Levante 783. SNG Paris 1046-52. A beautiful example with a bold portrait of Gallus. Light scratches and light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
