CILICIA. Mopsouestia-Mopsos. Septimius Severus, 193-211. Hexassarion (Bronze, 35 mm, 29.00 g, 6 h), CY 262 = 194/5. AY[T] KΑΙ Λ CЄΠΤ CEYHPOC ΠЄ[Ρ CЄB] Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΑΔΡΙΑΝωΝ MOΨЄAT[ω]N / ЄT BΞC Zeus seated left on throne, holding Nike in his right hand and scepter in his left; below at feet to left, eagle standing left with wings closed, head to right. SNG Levante 1341; SNG Paris -. SNG von Aulock -. Attractive earthen highlights. Minor flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
