SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos IV Epiphanes, 175-164 BC. AE (Bronze, 34 mm, 33.00 g, 12 h), 'Egyptianizing' series, Antiochia on the Orontes, 169-168. Laureate head of Zeus-Serapis to right, wearing tainia with Osiris cap at tip. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ANTIOXOY - ΘEOY / EΠIΦANOY[Σ] Eagle standing right on thunderbolt, wings closed. SC 1413. Beautiful earthen highlights. Very fine.
