Maurice Tiberius, 582-602. Light weight Solidus of 23 Siliquae (Gold, 23 mm, 4.34 g, 7 h), Constantinopolis. [O N] mAVRC TIb P P AVI Draped and cuirassed bust of Maurice Tiberius facing, wearing plumed helmet with diadem and pendillia, holding globus cruciger in his right hand; in field to right, star. Rev. [VICTORI]A AVGG Δ / CONOB Angel standing facing, holding globus cruciger in his left hand and long staff surmounted by staurogram in his right; in field to right, star. DOC 7. MIB 11. SB 481. Struck on a broad flan. Light areas of weakness and with a light scratch on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
