ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 33 mm, 16.85 g, 1 h), circa 165-150/49. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos. Rev. A-ΘE Owl standing facing on Amphora; to left, trophy; to right, two monograms; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 48. Light deposits and the obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
