LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 340-330 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.87 g, 10 h). Head of Demeter to left, wearing wreath of barley ears, pendant earring and pearl necklace. Rev. META Ear of barley with leaf to right; to left, kerykeion above [Λ]Y. Johnston Class A, 1.5. HN Italy 1556. Slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
