CELTIC, Central Gaul. Bituriges Cubi. Circa 80-50 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.25 g, 12 h), 'tête à la coiffure classique et revers à la main' type. Celticized male head with curly hair to right, wearing pearl necklace. Rev. Celticized horseman to right, holding shield; below, human hand. DT 3339. SLM 179. A lovely and nicely toned piece. Good very fine.
