INDIA, Kushan Empire. Huvishka, circa 151-190. Dinar (Gold, 21 mm, 7.96 g, 1 h), main mint in Baktria (Balkh?). ÞαoHαHoÞαoooHÞKIKoÞαHo Nimbate, diademed, and crowned half-length bust of Huvishka to left, holding mace-scepter in his right hand and filleted spear in his left. Rev. APΔOXÞO Ardoxsho standing front, head to right, holding cornucopiae in both hands; in field to right, tamgha. Donum Burns 263. Göbl 286. Sunrise 539. A very sharp and attractive piece. Light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
