KINGS OF SOPHENE. Mithradates I, circa 2nd half of 2nd century BC. Hemichalkon (Bronze, 10 mm, 1.59 g). Diademed and draped bust of Mithradates I to left, wearing bashlyk tied with a diadem. Rev. [MΙΘP]AΔ[ATOY]. Kovacs -, cf. 27 (ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ MΙΘPAΔATOY). Leu 4 (2019), 310. Of the highest rarity, apparently the second known example. The reverse weakly struck, otherwise, very fine.
