Description

Diocletian, 284-305. Follis (Bronze, 27 mm, 10.58 g, 5 h), Treveri, circa 300-301. IMP DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Diocletian to right, seen from behind. Rev. FORTVNAE R-EDVCI AVGG NN / ✱ / BTR Fortuna seated left, holding rudder set on globe in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. RIC 382. Corrosion spots, otherwise, about extremely fine.
