CELTIC, Lower Danube. Uncertain tribe. Circa 2nd century BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 3.50 g, 1 h), imitating Philip III of Macedon. Celticized head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. Λ < VΠΠΠΠ[...] Celticized Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right to left, monogram. Lanz 939.
