GALATIA. Koinon of Galatia. Nero, with Poppaea, 54-68. Diassarion (Bronze, 27 mm, 13.54 g, 1 h). NEPΩNOΣ ΣEBAΣT[OY] Laureate head of Nero to right. Rev. ΠΟΠΠAIAΣ ΣEBAΣ[THΣ] Draped bust of Poppaea to right. RPC I 3562. SNG Paris 2400. SNG von Aulock 6117. An attractive example with two fine portraits. Minor smoothing, otherwise, very fine.
