SICILY. Syracuse. Agathokles, 317-289 BC. 50 Litrai or Hemistater (Electrum, 17 mm, 3.44 g, 8 h), circa 310-306/5. Laureate head of Apollo to left; to right, pilos. Rev. [ΣY]PAK-[OΣΙ]ΩN Tripod with three ring handles, ornamental volutes below the bowl and legs ending in lion's paws. HGC 2, 1294. Jenkins, Electrum, Group B, O13/R16. SNG München 1201. Faint scratches and very light deposits, otherwise, good fine.
