CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Nervii. Circa 60-30/25 BC. Stater (Electrum, 16 mm, 5.67 g, 2 h), 'VIROS - dérivé du statère à l'epsilon' type. Devolved and disjointed laureate male head to right. Rev. Celticized horse galloping left; above, [VI]ROS; below, crescent above Ϙ-shaped ornament. DT 623. LT 8766. SLM -. Sharp and beautifully toned. Extremely fine.
