CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Aulerci Eburovices. Late 2nd to first half of 1st century BC. Half Stater (Electrum, 18 mm, 2.84 g, 1 h), 'au sanglier' type. Celticized male head to left, with a boar standing left at his neck. Rev. Devolved charioteer driving cart to left; below, boar standing left; below, [pellet]. DT 2406. LT -. SLM -. Rare. A lovely and sharp example. Faint marks, otherwise, good very fine.
