CELTIC, Southern Gaul. Longostaletes. 2nd century BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 3.10 g), 'à la croix' type. Celticized male head to right with volutes before. Rev. Large cross with three ornaments and one axe in quarters; each quarter bound by crescent. Flesche -. LT 3108. SLM -. Very rare. An attractive and unusually complete example struck on a very broad flan. Good very fine.
