★ Struck on a very broad flan ★

Maximinus I, 235-238. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.46 g, 11 h), Rome, 236-237. MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG GERM Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximinus I to right, seen from behind. Rev. VICTORIA GERM Victory standing front, head to left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left; at feet to left, bound captive seated left, head turned to right. BMC 187. Cohen 107. MIR 27-3/C. RIC 23. Struck on a very broad flan. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, good very fine.
