CENTRAL GAUL. Lemovices. Circa 100-50 BC. Stater (Electrum, 19 mm, 6.52 g, 11 h). Female head to right, hair bound in a sakkos, wearing loop earring. Rev. Celticized horse prancing right; above, bird standing right; below, trefoil. DT 3407 var. (hair loose). LT 4072. A very rare variety. Some striking weakness, otherwise, very fine.
