The king’s name and title within a dotted circle, ‘al-sulṭān ibn al-sulṭān Fatḥ ʿAlī Shāh Qājār’ (‘Sultan, son of Sultan, Fath ʿAli Shah Qajar’ in Arabic/Persian). Rev. Within a central circle surrounded by floral designs and a dotted circle, ‘zarb-e dār al-ʿibāda Yazd, 1233’ (‘Struck in the Abode of Worship Yazd, 1233’ in Persian). Album 2865. Very well centered and sharply struck. Extremely fine.
