He sent him with guidance and the religion of truth, so that He may make it overcome all religions’ in Arabic). Rev. ‘Muḥammad / rasūl / Allāh’ (‘Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic); citing his son al-Amin Muhammad in the inner margin, ‘mimmā amara bihī al-amīr al-Amīn Muḥammad ibn amīr al-muʾminīn’ (‘From that ordered by Amir al-Amin Muhammad son of the Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic); in the outer margin, ‘bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-dīnār sana arbaʿ wa thamānīn wa miʾa’ (‘In the name of Allah.
