Seal (Lead, 34 mm, 28.75 g, 12 h), 1059-1065. +ЄMMA-NOVHΛ / IC - XC Bust of Christ Pantokrator facing, with decorated nimbus cruciger, holding book of Gospels in his left hand and raising his right in benediction. Rev. +K[ⲰN RACI]ΛЄVC - PⲰMAIⲰN O Δ૪K' Constantine X standing facing, wearing crown and loros, holding labarum in his right hand and akakia in his left hand, fold of his loros draped over his left arm. DO Seals VI 77. Zacos/Veglery 87. A well-preserved imperial seal with a beautiful depiction of the emperor. Some flatness and flan faults, otherwise, extremely fine.
