Maximinus II, as Caesar, 305-309. Follis (Bronze, 29 mm, 10.00 g, 12 h), Aquileia, 305-307. MAXIMINVS NOB CAES Laureate head of Maximinus II to right. Rev. VIRTVS A-VGG ET CAESS NN / AQΓ Maximinus II on horseback galloping right, holding spear in his right hand and shield in his left, riding down an enemy kneeling to left; below horse, a fallen enemy, prostrate on ground, and a shield. Paolucci & Zub 137. RIC 67b. Rare. Minor deposits and with some doubling on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
