INDIA, Islamic Sultanates. Delhi. Ala ud-din Khalji, AH 695-715 / AD 1296-1316. Jital (Billon, 16 mm, 3.36 g, 6 h). al-Sulṭān / al-Aʿẓam ʿAlā al-Du/nyā wa al-Dīn. Rev. ‘Muḥammad Shāh’ in center, ‘śrī sultān alāvadīn’ in devanāgarī script around, mostly off flan. Mitchiner 2569. Very fine.
