KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios, 323-317 BC. Drachm (Silver, 11 mm, 4.27 g, 1 h), Kolophon, struck under Menander or Kleitos, circa 322-319. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, monogram of ΠA; below throne, B. Price P48. Light porosity, otherwise, good very fine.
