Head of Demeter to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace; below chin, [ΔΩPI]. Rev. META Barley ear with leaf to left; above leaf, pitchfork; below leaf, ΔA. HN Italy 1582. Johnston Class C, 5.1 ( same dies ). Lovely toning and of fine style. Flan flaw on the obverse and somewhat flatly struck on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
