Head of Demeter to right, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace; before, ΔAI. Rev. META Ear of barley with leaf to right; to right above leaf, plow; below, M[AX]. HN Italy 1581. Johnston Class C, 1.26. Harshly cleaned and struck from worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
