CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 365-355 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.38 g, 2 h). Nude youth on horse prancing right, holding bridles in his left hand; below horse, Θ. Rev. ΤΑΡΑΣ Youthful oikist, nude, riding dolphin to left, his right arm outstretched. Fischer-Bossert 573 (V231/R435). HN Italy 879. Vlasto 464. Harshly cleaned and struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
