There is no deity but Allah, the One, there is no partner to Him’ in Arabic); around, ‘bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-fals bi Samarqand sana iḥdā wa arbaʿa miʾa’ (‘In the name of Allah. This fals was struck in Samarqand in the year 401’ in Arabic). Rev. Citing Nasr ibn ʿAli (AH 383-403 / AD 993-1012), ‘li-llāh / Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh / Naṣr / ibn ʿAlī’ (‘To Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. Nasr ibn Ali’ in Arabic); around, ‘mimmā amara bihī al-amīr al-jalīl Niẓām al-Dawla Abuʾl-Muẓaffar’ (‘From that ordered by the glorious amir Nizam al-Dawla Abuʾl-Muzaffar’ in Arabic). Album 3334.
