SWITZERLAND. Basel, Stadt. Taler no date (circa 1710) (Gilt Silver, 42 mm, 27.65 g, 12 h). View of Basel; above, BASILEA in decorated cartouche. Rev. DOMINE•CONSERVA•NOS•IN•PACE Basilisk standing left with spread wings, head to right and and resting right leg on coat-of-arms. HMZ 2-99a. Traces of gilding and with minor deposits, otherwise, nearly very fine.
