SWITZERLAND. Aargau, Kanton. 20 Batzen 1809 (Silver, 34 mm, 14.86 g, 6 h). CANTON AARGAU Arms between laurel and palm branch. Rev. SCHWEIZERISCHE EIDSGENOSSENSCHAFT 1809 / 20. BATZ Soldier seated to right, leaning his right elbow on shield inscribed XIX / CANT, holding halberd in his right hand and palm branch in his left. DT 191. HMZ 2-20b. Beautiful iridescent toning and in excellent state of preservation. Virtually as struck.
