Leo I, 457-474. Half Siliqua (Silver, 15 mm, 1.04 g, 6 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Constantinopolis, uncertain mint. D N ΓEo D•APC[...] Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Leo I to right. Rev. SAL / REI / PYI within wreath; in exergue, CONS. Cf. RIC 650 (for prototype). Nicely toned. Minor corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
