Description

Divus Augustus, died AD 14. As (Copper, 28 mm, 10.94 g, 6 h), Rome, struck under Tiberius, circa 22/3-30. DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER Radiate head of Divus Augustus to left. Rev. S - C / PROVIDENT Square altar with two doors and two horns on top. BMC 146. Cohen 228. RIC 81. Minor deposits and with a few light scratches, otherwise, about very fine.
