CAPPADOCIA. Caesaraea-Eusebia. Hadrian, 117-138. Didrachm (Silver, 20 mm, 6.57 g, 12 h), 128-138. [ΑΔΡ]ΙΑΝΟϹ ϹЄΒΑϹΤΟϹ Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. ΥΠΑΤΟϹ Γ ΠΑΤΗΡ ΠΑΤ Mount Argaios surmounted by statue of Sol-Helios, radiate, holding globe in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to upper left, star; to upper right, crescent. Ganschow 170a. RPC III online 3095.2 corr. ( this coin, but reverse legend misread as ΠΑΤΗΡ ΠΑΤP). Sydenham, Caesarea, 265. Struck slightly off center and with a scratch on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
