CAPPADOCIA. Caesaraea-Eusebia. Gordian III, 238-244. Drachm (Billon, 17 mm, 3.17 g, 12 h), RY 4 = 241. ΑΥ Κ Μ ΑΝΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟϹ Laureate head of Gordian III to right. Rev. ΜΗΤΡΟ ΚΑΙϹ Β Ν / ЄΤ Δ Mount Argaeus; to left, pellet. Ganschow 876a. RPC VII.2 3295. A beautiful and unusually fresh piece with a wonderful portrait. Thin die breaks, otherwise, extremely fine.
