Around a central square hole, ‘βγy twrkyš xʾγʾn pny’, i.e. ‘βaγ-ē Turgeš xāγān pan-i’ (‘Coin of the Lord Türgesh-Kaghan’ in Sogdian). Rev. ‘wnʾntmʾx xwβw’, i.e. ‘Wanand-māx xūβu’ (‘King Wanand-māx’ in Sogdian); trident tamgha. Lurje 1315. Smirnova 1625. Some weakness and earthen deposits, otherwise, about very fine.
