LOCAL ISSUES. Türgesh Kaghans of Semirech’e, Arslanids. Arslan Bilge, 8th century. Cash (Bronze, 21 mm, 2.74 g). Around a central square hole, ‘βγy ʾrslʾn pylkʾ xʾγʾn’, i.e. ‘βaγ-ē Arslan Bilga xāγān’ (‘[Coin] of Lord Arslan Bilge Kaghan’ in Sogdian). Rev. Traces of runic symbols. Kamyshev 48. Very rare. Areas of weakness and some deposits, otherwise, good fine.
