SASANIAN KINGS. Peroz I, 457/9-484. Hemidrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 1.94 g, 3 h), a contemporary imitation, uncertain mint. Draped bust of ruler to right, wearing Peroz's second crown; to left and right, countermarks. Rev. Stylized Sasanian fire altar flanked by two attendants; to left and right, blundered date. Göbl 290. Vondrovec, Type 290. Some marks, otherwise, about very fine.

From the collection of Dr. D. Löer, formed since the 1970s, privately acquired from Ancient Coins Canada.
