CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Treveri. 2nd century BC. Quarter Stater (Electrum, 13 mm, 1.89 g, 3 h), 'à la tête cornue' type. Celticized male head to right, with goat horn over his ear and stylized goatee. Rev. Horseman riding human-headed horse to left; below, wing. DT 128. LT -. SLM -. Very rare. A fresh and very attractive piece of excellent style. Extremely fine.
