Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 18 mm, 3.26 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 320. CONST-ANTINVS AVG Laureate, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. VIRTV-S AVGG / P - R / R T Campgate with closed doors and three turrets. RIC 176. A very attractive example, struck on sound metal with perfect surfaces. Very minor weakness, otherwise, extremely fine.
