ROMAE A-ETERNAE / P - R / R S Roma seated right, inscribing with her right hand shield set on her left knee with X/V in two lines; at her side, shield. RIC 147 var. (unlisted officina). From the collection of Dr. L. Ramskold, ex Saint Paul Antiques 8, 9 July 2017, 430.
This piece is most unusual, perhaps unique, in lacking the 'P R' in the mint mark. The silvering shows that this is original and not due to preservation. It appears that the engraver simply forgot to add the P and R.
