Constantine II, as Caesar, 316-337. Follis (Bronze, 17 mm, 2.05 g, 4 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Rome. Uncertain mint in Gaul (?), circa 333-340 (?). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine II to left. Rev. CONSTAN/TINVS / IVN NOB C / SMRT in four lines; above, laurel wreath. Cf. RIC 282 (for prototype). Ramskold, Constantine's vicennalia (2013), p. 425, fig. 6C ( this coin ). An unusually fine contemporary imitation. Minor traces of corrosion on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
