ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΑΝ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟϹ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΑΡΧ•ΑΛЄΖΑΝΔΡΩ•Β•ΑΓΩΝΟΘ•ΑΡΧΙЄΡΙ•Β / ϹΥΝΝΑΔЄ/ΩΝ Dionysos (?) standing front, head to right and holding thyrsos (?) in his right hand, within octastyle temple with annulet in pediment. RPC VII.1 789. Extremely rare. Minor pitting on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
